Who Will Be In Heaven?by Melissa J | More from this Blogger 11 Apr 2007 04:28 AM There are many who feel Christians who proclaim their beliefs of what the Bible says in regard certain sin come off as judgmental. It is true many Christians are like this. I personally don't ever want to come across as anything extra special as a Christian because apart from Christ, I am hell bound. None of us should speak out on such things without humility remembering not one of us is without sin and each one of us need Jesus. I've compiled a list of many of the sins mentioned in the Bible that prevent the entrance of a person without Jesus into heaven.
So, who is it the Bible says won't be in heaven? The Unrighteous Sexually immoral Wicked Covetous Malicious Envious Murderers Strife makers Deceitful Evil-minded Gossipers Backbiters Haters of God Violent Prideful Boastful Those who invent evil things Disobedient to parents Undiscerning Untrustworthy Unloving Unforgiving Unmerciful Those who approve of such sinful people Carnally minded Those in the flesh Without the Spirit of Christ Fornicators Idolaters Adulterers Homosexuals Sodomites Thieves Drunkards Revilers Extortionists Those who are lewd Sorcerers Haters Contentious Jealous Wrathful Those with selfish ambitions Dissentious Heretics Lovers of money Blasphemers Unthankful Unholy Unforgiving Slanderers Those without self-control Brutal Despisers of good Traitors Headstrong Haughty Unbelieving (Romans 1:29-32; 8:6-9; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10; Galatians 5:19-21; Colossians 3:5-6; 2 Timothy 3:1-5; Revelation 21:8; 22:15) These are sins gathered from the New Testament only and certainly aren't all the sins listed in the Bible. All of us have committed at least one of these sins. Just as it takes one murder for someone to be a murderer, it takes one lie to make someone a liar. It is by the grace of God through Jesus Christ that we receive the gift of salvation.
In regard to the sins mentioned above:
We can rest assured there is great hope for us. There was One who was perfect enough to become the sacrifice we needed; God. And it is by His blood we are saved if we should ask, believe and receive.
Even though I've been saved, I am not perfect; I still sin. Thankfully, God helps me in my times of weakness. The more I become aware of my sins, the easier it becomes to avoid them.
