Yesterday a volunteering friend used the phrase “wifely duties.”  She did so somewhat in jest, but the phrase stuck with me.  I certainly think that I have duties to Jonathan, but I shudder at calling them wifely duties.  I don’t think these duties have anything to do with me being his wife, or rather, have anything to do with the fact that I’m the woman in the relationship. Last week, my sister got married. It was an incredible event, complete with a sunset cruise on a beautiful schooner. Pets Leaving Food: Should You Worry?

My cats have caused so many food-related problems this year. I went from giving my cats food once a day to twice a day, then three times, having to split up normal portions into weird smaller amounts. My cat’s gluttony, food thievery, mischievous behavior, and sudden desire to eat people food all prompted my decision. The Side of the Mistress

Earlier this week I watched a frustrating segment on “The View.” The ladies were interviewing Rielle Hunter, mistress of former presidential candidate John Edwards. Rielle is known for stealing the charming Mr. Edwards from his wife, Elizabeth, during the time she was battling cancer. She ended up getting pregnant and the whole controversy ended his political career.
