Evidence: The Sin of Biblical Peopleby Lisa Kennedy | More from this Blogger 29 Jul 2006 11:47 PM This evidence for the existence of God was recently brought to my attention and I believe it is yet another example of the abundance of knowledge the world has for the Lord. Consider a normal history book. For the most part, do history books speak about the good and bad qualities and characteristics of heroes? Not usually. Most history books speak highly of individuals who are known for wonderful accomplishments, and leave the darker side of these individuals' out (or barely speak of it at all). This is where the Bible greatly differs from many history books. The Bible is a history book. However, when the Bible speaks of heroes or great men of faith are the people only spoken about as good men, with no flaws or sins of their own? This is hardly the case. The Bible speaks truthfully about these men. Romans 3:23 states: "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." The Bible is very unique in its depiction of prominent figures, unlike ordinary history books. There are many, many example of this throughout the Bible. I have listed a few below.
